Diane’s Warm Winter Wish

Bryant’s second Wish of the 2017-18 Warm Winter Wish was installed on Tuesday, January 23rd in Diane’s home. Three years ago Bryant Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical & Plumbing helped Diane and Don with a non-conventional Warm Winter Wish. Bryant had selected other recipients for their annual free furnace giveaway that year, but also provided free service and repairs to improve the operation of Diane and Don’s aging system.

Moving ahead three years things have changed. Don, who was more comfortable with the operation of the system, has since passed, and the furnace has become less reliable. The furnace was quite old and inefficient, on top of that the thermostat wasn’t able to correctly control the heating. Diane had been cycling her furnace by making the trip into her furnace and turning on the power to the furnace when she needed more heat. When her home reached a comfortable temperature she would again make the trip to the basement to shut off power to the furnaace.

When Diane’s daughter, Amy heard the announcement that Bryant was accepting nominations for the 7^th annual Warm Winter Wish she sent a nomination for her mother. Bryant team members remembered the name, remembered the circumstances and decided this year Diane would be awarded a new furnace. Bryant will be installing a high efficiency furnace in Diane’s home, a new thermostat that is more user friendly and an extra, a new air conditioner. With the Warm Winter Wish Diane’s home will be more comfortable year round.
